Filter lines

Place a block of text into the Input window, then filter the lines of that block according to the value you use for the “Needle” field. To use the utility, follow these steps.

• 1. Type or place text into the Input window.
• 2. For “Needle” place text to filter as with the dot or period in the example.
• 3. For the first Convert, select one of the following either of the following.
  Filter out lines with needle
  Filter out lines without needle
• 4. For the second Convert, select one of the following.
  Case sensitive
  Case insensitive
• 5. See the result in the Output window as shown in the example.
